Best Homestay in Palampur we recommend The Lodge at Wah, an eight bedroom property based on the largest working tea estate in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh in India. The property is 100% eco-friendly, and the materials used in its construction are wood, stone, slate and mud. Only 40 minutes from the world-famous site of Bir-Billing for paragliding, we are perfectly situated to enjoy the tourism in the area and yet remain in a tranquil part of the Kangra region.

The property has been created on a one-acre land which was filled with tea bushes. This means that guests only need to look outside their window to see the tea bushes all around, and often see pluckers at work.

The Lodge at Wah has been designed to be flexible to our guest’s needs and to try to make things more interesting for them. With this in mind, we also organise a tea tour of our estate Wah Tea Estate (one of the largest manufacturing tea estates in the region) and a tea tasting session. We also organise a picnic and a bonfire and barbeque for chilly nights. Dining is done al fresco when the weather permits to allow guests to enjoy the outdoors.
