Calamander Unawatuna Beach is found nestled by the edge of a bay that allows travellers to absorb the beauty of the splendid Blue Ocean and miles of sandy beaches. Located on what is recognised as one of the best beaches in the world. The hotel maintains the relaxed character of the old, the great food, and the al-fresco dining; whilst dramatically improving the quality of the rooms and facilities to official four-star class.

Our 49 deluxe rooms are 25 sq. m. and have balconies or a terrace on the ground floor and ensuite bathrooms. Two of the Deluxe interconnect to provide a Family Suite of approx. 45 sq. m. with twin bathrooms, twin rain showers and sinks, and a bathtub. Most of the Deluxe benefit from a partial sea view, a garden view, or a mountain view over the Rumassala Hills.

Our 12 Super Deluxe rooms are 30-35 sq. m., and include Super Deluxe Sea view rooms, which have large balconies with a sea view; and Super Deluxe Family rooms, which include a Bravat bathtub and disabled/elderly grab bars, and have a terrace which looks onto the gardens.

The large 45-50 sq m rooms include a jacuzzi. The 2nd and 3rd level rooms have balconies with sea views. The 1st level (ground floor) rooms have a terrace and look onto The Sun Pool and The Turtle Pool.
