Kullu, Himachal Pradesh – Neeralaya

At a Glance

Neeralaya, Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. Rural retreats in India. Neeralaya is built from old recycled timber, stone and slates sourced locally. Located on the banks of the river Beas, surrounded by forest and orchards on the other two sides, Neeralaya is completely isolated from the crowds that make a beeline for the hills to escape the summer heat.

Stay amidst Nature In keeping with the natural rhythm of things, Neeralaya is built using the age-old technique of timber bonded architecture of the Western Himalayas. That is why, with its stone and timber walls and stretches of green, it looks as if it has just risen up from the ground by the river. In terms of guest rooms, you can choose from 3 villas and 7 bedrooms – again all designed with recycled timber, stone and slate. Some of the rooms have balconies and access to private gardens. But no matter which room you choose, you will always be surrounded by wide rolling space, fruit trees, the forest and of course, the softly gurgling river!
