What if one gets a chance to relive one of the characters of the fairy tales in a beautiful and huge castle surrounded by pine and cedar trees, where the snow clad montains bath in the sunlight as well as the moonlight preparing to witness the royal procession of the snow queen.....This is exactly the kind of feel that this special tour of the foothills gives you.

Overview

A train journey from Delhi where you spend two good days rambling in the old and the new Delhi. Your train reaches the erstwhile British summer capital of Shimla, where you can spend days explore the hill station or trekking in the hills and valleys. 

The next spell is cast by Mashobra, that exquisite fairy tale hill resort called the Wildflower Hall; the destination discovered by Lord Dalhousie. Your three day stay in this little wonderland will take you to orchards, gardens, trekking routes, ancient temple skiing and winter sports arena and loads of rejuvenation and peace.
 
All this happens in the backdrop of tall pine and cedar forests. Honestly, the tail end of the tour will leave you wishing for some fairy godmother to grant you the wish of staying right here forever!

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. Later proceed for orientation tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar – the 239ft sandstone tower. Drive past the India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation was cremated; drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
Day 02 - Shimla (Simla)
This morning take an early train to Kalka 0740-1145. On arrival, you will met and assisted to board the Himalayan Queen toy train to Solan 1210-1437. On arrival in Solan, you will drive to Shimla (1.2 hrs). Rest of the day is at leisure at the hotel in Shimla.
Day 03 - Shimla (Simla)
After breakfast, you will take a private guided tour of Shimla including visit to Viceroy Regal Hall, Jakhu Temple and Scandal Point. You will also enjoy leisurely stroll at Mall road.
Day 04 - Mashobra
After breakfast, you will drive to Mashobra (1 hr). Arrive Mashobra and rest of the day will be at leisure.
Day 05 - Mashobra
After breakfast, days are at leisure to explore on your own or relax at the hotel. Car and driver will not be at disposal. However, same can be arranged at nominal charges by contacting our local office directly.
Day 06 - Mashobra
After breakfast, days are at leisure to explore on your own or relax at the hotel. Car and driver will not be at disposal. However, same can be arranged at nominal charges by contacting our local office directly.
Day 07 - Delhi
After breakfast, morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, you will drive to Kalka railway station (4 hrs) to board your train to Delhi 1745-2155. On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred to you Hotel.
Day 08 - Delhi
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Delhi International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to your next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
