You begin at Delhi and head towards Rishikesh, one of the holiest of the Indian cities. The city is ornate with countless temples, ashrams, yoga centres, and special points on the river Ganges called the Ghats, where many rituals are performed in the traditional way.

Rishikesh is also called the abode of sages. The atmosphere in this city pulsates with the sound of the chants, bells and cymbals, creating that air of single minded dedication to God.

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. Later proceed for orientation tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar – the 239ft sandstone tower. Drive past India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation was cremated and drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
Day 02 - Rishikesh
This morning take an early morning train to Haridwar 0650-1125. On arrival, you will be met and straight away drive to Rishikesh (01 Hr). Rishikesh also known as the gateway to the Himalayas and is located around 25 kilometres north of another holy city, Haridwar. Rishikesh is a vegetarian city by law, as well as an alcohol-free city.
Day 03 - Rishikesh
After breakfast, you will take a half day sightseeing tour of Rishikesh and witnessing the evening aarti ceremony and boat ride. Evening is at leisure to relax and explore.
Day 04 - Rishikesh
After breakfast, you will drive to Narendra Nagar (01 Hr). Located in the tranquil Himalayan foothills, close to the mythological cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh, surrounded by graceful Sal forests, overlooking the peaceful Ganga as it meanders into the distance, Ananda is the spiritual pathway to the ultimate, discovered through the union of body, mind and soul. Rest of the day is at leisure to relax and unwind.
Day 05 - Rishikesh
After breakfast, day is at leisure for independent activities. Car and driver will not be at disposal. However in case you require car, the same can be arranged at a nominal price.

Day 07 - Delhi
After breakfast, day is at leisure to relax and unwind. In the afternoon, you will drive to Haridwar and transferred to railway station to board your train to Delhi 1813-2245. On arrival meet and transfer to your hotel, then at leisure. One can take a flight this afternoon from Dehra Dun as an alternative to the train. Ask our specialist for details.
Day 08 - Delhi
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Delhi International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to you next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
