Overview

When the tour kicks starts at Delhi; be it the Maidens or the Trident you will not miss any home like comfort while exploring the old and the new charm of Delhi. After getting a slice of the cosmopolitan flavours, the tour takes you further to the city of Agra, where the pampers you at the Amarvilas which has the distinction of offering a great view of the Taj from all its rooms and even the lobby! The service and the comfort level is one of its kinds. The city has a lot to offer apart from the jewel on the banks of the Yamuna.

A touch of adventure sneaks in as you enter Ranthambore to catch a glimpse of the elusive Indian tiger!! But that too in total style and comfort at Oberoi’s  Vanyavilas which is a class apart. The red carpet journey continues further as you enter the sand dunes and dry terrain of Rajasthan. Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is then at leisure to relax after your flight. Extra sightseeing can be arranged if you would like to explore this afternoon. There is perhaps no other capital city in the world so steeped in history and legend as India’s capital Delhi. It drew the Mongols, Turks, Persians, Afghans, Mughals and the British, all of whom contributed to its glorious but turbulent past.
Day 02 - Delhi
After breakfast you will be taken on a private guided tour of Delhi. You will visit the most important sights of the city. Qutub Minar - the 239ft sandstone tower - Humayun’s Tomb; India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Jama Masjid - The mosque of Friday was built from 1644 to 1658. Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation, was cremated; drive past the Red Fort and a chance to wander through Chandni Chowk. Later Evening will be leisure.
Day 03 - Agra
After breakfast, you will drive to Agra (5 hrs). Later in the evening proceed for sunset visit of Taj Mahal. With a past reaching back more than 400 centuries, Agra is a cultural revelation and an architectural wonder. The Mughal influence can be felt everywhere in Agra’s cuisine, shops, and architecture as well as the music. Home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. Agra is also renowned for its amazing variety of precious stones.
Day 04 - Agra
Enjoy, sunrise visit to Taj Mahal; After breakfast, you will take a private guided tour of Agra city visiting Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah. Evening is at leisure.
Day 05 - Ranthambore NP
After breakfast you will drive to Ranthambore (6 hrs) enroute visiting the heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri, a mere half-hour by road from Agra (34 km), is a must-see. Built by Akbar in 1568 as his capital, the town’s palaces, courts and other monuments are a perfect example of the fusion of Hindu and Mughal architectural styles. Continue this afternoon to Ranthambore arriving late afternoon, then at leisure.
Day 06 - Ranthambore NP
Morning you will proceed for jungle safari by Jeep. Return to the hotel and after breakfast, day is at leisure to relax at the hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for jungle safari by jeep. Evening is at leisure. Ranthambore National Park encompasses nearly 400 square kilometres of dry, deciduous forest in south western Rajasthan. It is situated in the south-eastern reaches of Rajasthan, close to the border and lies at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya Hills.
Day 07 - Jaipur
Morning you will proceed for jungle safari by Jeep. Return to hotel and after breakfast you will drive to Jaipur (3.5 hrs). Arrive Jaipur and transfer to your hotel. Evening is at leisure. Jaipur the City of Victory was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. It is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the Universe through nine rectangular sectors sub-dividing it.
Day 08 - Jaipur
After breakfast, you will take a private guided tour of Jaipur and Amber Fort. Taking in sites like Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Observatory; This afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets.
Day 09 - Jaipur
After breakfast day is at leisure to relax at the hotel or explore on your own.
Day 10 - Udaipur
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Jaipur airport to board your flight for Udaipur 1810-1910. Arrive Udaipur and transfer to your hotel. Set amidst the Aravalli hills of south Rajasthan, Udaipur is a beautiful city regarded as one of the most romantic in India. Presenting an enchanting image of marble palaces, lakes, attractive gardens and green hills, it has been called “the Venice of the East”.
Day 11 - Udaipur
After breakfast, you will take a private guided tour of Udaipur. Visiting sites like City Palace – Built in 1725, the grand City Palace is actually a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola. Later visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Badi. In the evening enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Pichola.
Day 12 - Udaipur
After breakfast, proceed for half day excursion to Ranakpur Temples, the largest Jain Temple complex in India and dates to the 15th century. Evening is at leisure to relax at the hotel.
Day 13 - Udaipur
After breakfast, day is at leisure to relax at the hotel r explore on your own.
Day 14 - Mumbai
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Udaipur airport to board your flight for Mumbai 0800-0945. Arrive Mumbai and day is at leisure. Bombay, or Mumbai, is the capital of Maharashtra and the economic powerhouse of India. It’s the fastest moving, most affluent and the most industrialized city in India. Yet, once upon a time, Bombay was nothing more than a group of low lying, swampy and malarial mud flats presented to the British by its Portuguese occupiers as a wedding gift in 1661.
Day 15 - Mumbai
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Mumbai – visit Prince of Wales Museum (Closed on Monday), Malabar hills, Victoria Terminus, Gateway of India and Mani Bhawan. Evening is at leisure to relax or pursue independent activities;
Day 16 - Mumbai
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Mumbai International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to your next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
