In the recent past the North of India has become one of the growing favourites with tourists. The reason being the growing awareness about spirituality yoga and the reigning factor is the search for peace and the inner balance.

Overview

This tour takes you to two of the holiest cities in India. Since time immemorial India has been the proud bestowal of spiritual boons. This unique tour touches two of the seven most religious places of India in the Hindu context. Rishikesh and Haridwar; both these cities are home to ancient temples, magnificent views of the Himalayas, several yoga ashrams or schools, various Ayurveda centres and above all loads of serenity and peace. 

The other two destinations in this itinerary offer a flavour of adventure in the hills. Mussoorie where the initial part of the journey is spent is a nice little hill station which has the distinction of having the oldest church in the Himalayas, an ancient Tibetan temple Land and a lot more. 

Corbett on the other hand offers one of the best experiences in wildlife tours. The 1288 sq.km sprawling park nestles a huge variety of flora and fauna, where you can have an adventurous, exciting, rejuvenating and relaxing stay. Another special treat is the famous Corbett Museum which was the home of the renowned naturalist writer Jim Corbett. 

By the time one is ready to retreat to Delhi the Himalayas seem to be calling again!!

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. Later proceed for orientation tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar – the 239ft sandstone tower. Drive past the India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation was cremated; drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
Day 02 - Mussoorie
This morning take the train to Dehradun 0650-1240. On arrival, drive to Mussoorie (1.5 Hrs). This afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets. HALF BOARD
Day 03 - Mussoorie
After breakfast, day is at leisure to relax at the hotel or pursue independent activities. Car and drive will not be at disposal. However, same can be arranged at nominal charges by contacting our local office directly. HALF BOARD
Day 04 - Rishikesh
After breakfast you will drive to Rishikesh (2.5 hrs). Later this afternoon, you will take a private guided tour of Rishikesh. Visiting sites like Lakshman Jhula – the suspension iron bridge was built in 1929. Bharat Mandir, Rishikund, Raghunath Temple, Triveni Ghat the most important places for religious ceremonies in Rishikesh and Geeta Bhawan.
Day 05 - Rishikesh
After breakfast, you will be at leisure. Later in the afternoon you will take a private guided tour of Haridwar. Visiting sites like Daksh Prajapati Temple, Ananand Mai Ashram, Parad (Mercury) Shivling in Kankhal region, Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi(both by ropeway). Later in the evening visit Har – Ki – Pauri to view the holy Ganges Aarti.
Day 06 - Corbett NP
After breakfast you will drive to Corbett (5 hrs). Arrive Corbett and rest of the day will at leisure. FULL BOARD
Day 07 - Corbett NP
Morning you will proceed for jungle safari by Jeep. Return to hotel and after breakfast day is at leisure to relax at the hotel. FULL BOARD
Day 08 - Corbett NP
Morning you will proceed for jungle safari by Jeep. Return to hotel and after breakfast day is at leisure to relax at the hotel. FULL BOARD
Day 09 - Delhi
After breakfast you will drive to Delhi (7 hrs). Arrive Delhi and rest of the day will be at leisure.
Day 10 - Delhi
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Delhi International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to your next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
