Maharaja's Rajasthan Heritage Hotels

DELHI (3) - JAIPUR (3) - JODHPUR (3) - UDAIPUR (3) - MUMBAI (2) = 14 nights

The Heritage hotels of India are indeed a boon for the traveller. One gets to relive the grandeur of the erstwhile kings and the maharajas.

Overview

There are several palaces, forts, Havelis which were earlier just a point of visit for a traveller have been renovated and turned into dream come true experiences. The same majestic style, comfort and hospitality that were offered only to the kings are now there for everybody.  Several royal families have religiously revived and restructured the frail structures into grand heritage homestays and hotels which are delight for one and all. They no doubt require utmost care and maintenance.

They are delicate and rich specimens of Indian culture at its best; with its architecture, antique accessories, fabric and sometimes even the cuisine which has the distinction of being a part of the age old tradition. With so much to offer the royal tour of Rajasthan through its various cities like Jaipur which is also called the Pink City with its intricate Hawa Mahal, Jodhpur with its Sprawling Mehrangarh Fort and Udaipur with its grand City Palace and the beautiful Lake Pichola simply adds on to the complete charm of the journey.

Such tours leave you mesmerised with the kingly charm for days together so much so that the flight, homebound looks like a capital punishment!!
