This North India special offers a good mix and match between spiritual solace and complete royal comfort.

Overview

The tour begins from the lively city of Delhi which also happens to be the capital city. It has a superb blend of the new and the old, be it the monuments or the bustling markets or lifestyle - Delhi has it all.

From here the journey reaches one of the oldest religious cities of the world - Varanasi which is also called Benaras. One gets to witness the traditional richness of this country in its most unadulterated form. The peace experienced is wonderfully carried over and a bit elevated in the temple city of Khajuraho. The city is sheer magic in stone. It also offers a great variety in traditional handicrafts.

Now comes the sudden change of mood, taste and experience. The tour enters the royal territory by touching the best of royalty in Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur respectively.

Last but not the least, the tour offers two interesting offbeat villages & Romantic Udaipur as stopovers too. An added bonus indeed!

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is then at leisure to relax after your flight. Extra sightseeing can be arranged if you would like to explore this afternoon.
Day 02 - Delhi
After breakfast you will be taken on a private guided tour of Delhi. You will visit the most important sights of the city. Qutub Minar - the 239ft sandstone tower - Humayun’s Tomb; India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Jama Masjid - The mosque of Friday was built from 1644 to 1658. Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation, was cremated; drive past the Red Fort and a chance to wander through Chandni Chowk. Later evening will be leisure.
Day 03 - Jaipur
After breakfast you will drive to Jaipur (6 hrs). Arrive Jaipur then the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 04 - Jaipur
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Jaipur and Amber Fort. Taking in sites like Hawa Mahal, the City Palace and Observatory. This afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets.
Day 05 - Agra
After breakfast you will drive to Agra (5 hrs) En route you will be shown around the heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue this afternoon to Agra arriving late afternoon then at leisure.
Day 06 - Agra
After breakfast, you will be taken for a private city tour of Agra city visiting Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah. Later in the evening enjoy sunset at the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays).
Day 07 - Orchha
This morning take the train to Jhansi 0817-1048. On arrival, drive to Orchha (30 Minutes). Later in the afternoon you will proceed for a private tour of the city visiting Jehangir Mahal and the Cenotaphs or ‘Chhatris’ of Orchha rulers.
Day 08 - Khajuraho
After breakfast you will drive to Khajuraho (4 hrs). In the afternoon, you will be taken for a private guided tour of the Western Temples.
Day 09 - Khajuraho
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of the Eastern Temples in Khajuraho. This afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets.
Day 10 - Varanasi
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Khajuraho airport to board your flight for Varanasi 1355-1445. On arrival in Varanasi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Later in the evening witness the ‘Ganga Aarti’ on the Ghats of the River Ganges.
Day 11 - Varanasi
Morning proceed for a boat cruise on river Ganges. Then return to your hotel for breakfast. After your will take a private guided tour of Varanasi – visiting the ancient temples and exploring the markets of Varanasi. Later visit Sarnath - dominated by the Dhamekh Stupa supposedly marking the point where Buddha delivered his sermon.
Day 12 - Delhi
Morning proceed for a boat cruise on river Ganges. Then return to your hotel for breakfast. After your will take a private guided tour of Varanasi – visiting the ancient temples and exploring the markets of Varanasi. Later visit Sarnath - dominated by the Dhamekh Stupa supposedly marking the point where Buddha delivered his sermon.
Day 13 - Delhi
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Delhi International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to your next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
