DELHI (2) - AGRA (2) - JAIPUR (3) - DELHI (1) = 8 nights

A special tour designed to make travelling all the more interesting and different. It is the best way to appreciate India which is a rich melting pot of culture, traditions and values not only in religion and heritage but also different kinds of cuisines that have been there since thousands of years.

Overview

Food is not only an gastronomic affair but according to the ancient beliefs and Ayurveda it is an offering made to the deities and gods residing in one’s being. It is a sacred thing and so very much thought goes into the choice of time, raw materials and the way of cooking. Given the huge variety and differences in dialect and food with every kilometre travelled in this vast country, a tour that amalgamates travel and a learning experience in cookery is worth a try!! The tour is designed with the famous Golden Triangle in mind.

Beginning at Delhi, one gets to do a lot of sightseeing with the old and the colonial architecture proudly adorning the city’s landscape. There are numerous museums to visit apart from the famous Red Fort and the President’s Palace. It is in Delhi, that you would be offered a great culinary experience by our expert,  Jyoti who would take on a shopping spree for your gourmet journey, educate you on the various nuances of North Indian cuisine and also present a demonstration of the region’s speciality.

After this wonderful experience you travel further to the of Agra, which is home to the famous Taj Mahal. Apart from this there is the Agra Fort and the beautiful monuments at Fatehpur Sikri. The last in this culinary tour is the pink city of Jaipur, which as colourful and full of traditions and architectural richness as several other cities of this country. The Hawa Mahal, the Palace and the old Havelis, are worth visiting. Jaipur is also a great place to collect some memorabilia before turning homebound!
