Overview

The journey begins with the first of the Golden Triangle cities and that happens to be India's Capital city, Delhi. Witness the colonial marvels in Lutyen's Delhi, the rustic charm of the walled city in Old Delhi and the modern hustle-bustle of the metropolis. The city of Agra and the Pink City come next, ready to offer the Taj Experience and the traditional Rajasthani fanfare respectively. 
 
The second leg of this tour not only is a superb, change but is a very well thought one. From here its time for you to relax, let go yourself completely and surrender to the Mother Nature, because its to Kerela - God's own Country. Be it Cochin, or the famous and traditional Rice Barge, Kettuvellom as they are also known.
 
Experience the serene backwaters at Kovalam - the gateway to Kerela, your stay gives you the best of seafood, ayurveda, accommodation and relaxation unlimited. By the time you head to Mumbai a city to cherish; one already wants to begin again!!

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is then at leisure to relax after your flight. Extra sightseeing can be arranged if you would like to explore this afternoon.
Day 02 - Delhi
After breakfast you will be taken on a private guided tour of Delhi. You will visit the most important sights of the city. Qutub Minar - the 239ft sandstone tower - Humayun’s Tomb; India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Jama Masjid - The mosque of Friday was built from 1644 to 1658. Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation, was cremated; drive past the Red Fort and a chance to wander through Chandni Chowk. Later this evening will be leisure.
Day 03 - Agra
Day 03 – Train to Agra [Shatabdi Express: 0610 / 0815 Hrs] This morning take an early morning train to Agra 0610-0815. On arrival you will proceed for a private tour of the city visiting Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daulah and a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal(closed Fridays)
Day 04 - Jaipur
After breakfast you will drive to Jaipur (5 hrs) En route you will be shown around the heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue this afternoon to Jaipur arriving late afternoon then at leisure.
Day 05 - Jaipur
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Jaipur and Amber Fort. Taking in sites like Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Observatory; this afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets.
Day 06 - Jaipur
After breakfast, you have a free day to explore on your own.
Day 07 - Cochin
Breakfast today, then you drive to Delhi (6.5 Hrs) and transferred to Delhi domestic airport to connect with your flight to Cochin 1730-2030. On arrival in Cochin you will be met by Mystic India’s representative and transferred to your hotel. Then at leisure
Day 08 - Cochin
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Cochin visiting Dutch Palace [Closed on Friday], Jewish Synagogue [Closed on Friday & Saturday], St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets; In the evening you will witness a Kathakali dance performance.
Day 09 - Munnar
After breakfast you will drive to Munnar (3.5 hrs). Arriving in the afternoon and then at leisure. You driver is at your disposal for the rest of the afternoon for local drives if you wish.
Day 10 - Munnar
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Munnar. Visit the Eravikulam National Park. A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus hylocrious), the Eravikulam National Park stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97 sq km in the Kannan devan hills. Here are some other locations to visit whilst in Munnar if you prefer. Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden and Rajamalai which h offers spectacular views. You can also visit a Tea Plantation museum. Evening is at leisure.
Day 11 - Backwaters
After breakfast, you will drive to Alleppey (5 hrs). On arrival you will embark you won private houseboat for an overnight stay on a full board basis. Evening is then free to relax or enjoy the backwaters.
Day 12 - Mararikulam
After breakfast, you will disembark the houseboat and drive to Mararikulam (30 Minutes). Afternoon is then at leisure to relax or pursue independent activities.
Day 13 - Mararikulam
After breakfast, the days are at leisure to relax or pursue independent activities Car and driver will not be at disposal during leisure days.
Day 14 - Mararikulam
After breakfast, the days are at leisure to relax or pursue independent activities Car and driver will not be at disposal during leisure days.
Day 15 - Cochin
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Cochin International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to your next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
