The three richly historic cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra have become a great and most liked combination tour, over the years. Popularly known as the Golden Triangle, this tour gives you the opportunity to admire explore and appreciate some of the most exquisite samples of art, architecture and royal lifestyles.

Overview

The very beginning of the tour is very happening where one gets to wake up to a busy city that has cosily enwrapped the old and the new. There are two parts in which Delhi is discovered-the Old Delhi and the New Delhi. Old Delhi has retained the Mughal charm and charisma! Be it the Red Fort or the Meena Bazar, or even the thickly populated by lanes that attract you with the aromatic and delicious food, few of which are even 100 year old shops that have mastered and have a special patent of certain recipes too!! There are also some of the other historic buildings and crematoriums that are visited by one and all. The other part is the famous Lutyen’s Delhi that has the legacy of the British Raj.

All the monuments are the brilliant impressions of those colonial years. From Delhi, the tour proceeds to Agra, which is home to the Taj Mahal, a pearl on the banks of Yamuna! They say it takes a different hue at each passing hour and looks ethereal especially on a full moon night. Then there is the Agra Fort and the monuments at Fatehpur Sikri are certainly worth a visit.

The last attraction of this tour is the Pink City- Jaipur called so because of the red sand stone which is widely used in all the monuments in the city . It is a very lively and a busy city. A great place for shopping the artefacts so typical of Rajasthan indeed especially the paisley motifs done on fabric to stone!!

After an action packed tour on return to Delhi you have the opportunity to have dental work done from a renowned city based dentist.  A great way to make use of your stay here in India an save money into the bargain!!

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is then at leisure to relax after your flight. Extra sightseeing can be arranged if you would like to explore this afternoon.
Day 02 - Delhi
After breakfast you will be taken on a private guided tour of Delhi. You will visit the most important sights of the city. Qutub Minar - the 239ft sandstone tower - Humayun’s Tomb; India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Jama Masjid - The mosque of Friday was built from 1644 to 1658. Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation, was cremated; drive past the Red Fort and a chance to wander through Chandni Chowk. Later evening will be at leisure.
Day 03 - Agra
This morning take the early train to Agra 0615-0812, on arrival you will proceed for a private tour of the city visiting Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daulah and a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal.
Day 04 - Jaipur
After breakfast, you will drive to Jaipur (5 hrs) Enroute you will be shown around the heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue this afternoon to Jaipur arriving late afternoon then at leisure.
Day 05 - Jaipur
After breakfast, you will take a private guided tour of Jaipur and Amber Fort. Taking in sites like Hawa Mahal, the City Palace and Observatory. This afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets.
Day 06 - Delhi
After breakfast, you will depart for Delhi by road (6 hrs), then on arrival this afternoon you will check in at your hotel and are at leisure to visit Dentist or relax at the hotel.
Day 07 - Delhi
Breakfast today, then you are have a free day to visit the Dentist or explore on your own. Car and driver will be at your disposal for the day.
Day 08 - Delhi
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Delhi International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to your next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
