Nepal is not just about the Everest, Tenzing and Hillary! It is also the land of stupas, Sherpa’s beautiful treks, great wildlife, ancient temples and even more ancient culture and heritage.

Overview

Originally there were small kingdoms of Patan, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur which were centres of reverence and visit but now the attractions are many. Nepal is one of those places where you can endlessly trek without even having to pitch a tent. There are several adventure activities like kayaking, bungee jumping, white water rafting etc. The tour begins at Kathmandu which was known as Kastha mandapa and even Kantipur in the olden times.

Apart from the magnificent Kasthamandapa which is a majestic 3roofed building constructed in the 12th century. It was used as a community centre for some time was later dedicated to Gorakhnath. The Garden of Dreams is a good place to spend some time aimless. The Durbar Square and the Nasal Chowk are nice specimens of Nepali architecture. In fact these are two places where the kings were legitimised and coroneted. The next destination is again known for its natural beauty and the wildlife adventure that it gives.

The Chitwan National Park is 932sq.kms of magical green heaven decked up with the wild animals. It is the third biggest attraction of Nepal. The national park offers scenic views and lush green paddy fields and a quaint village called Tharu forms an unique background to it. The mesmerising spell continues as you reach the next attraction at Pokhra. There are rare views of the Seti River from Old Pokhra. One of the sure shot snaps are the stunning reflections of the Annapurna Mountains in the beautiful Phewa Tal; the largest lake of Nepal. Some even take a row boat across the lake. Even if you venture beyond the planned places, there are gompas, the Gorkha Museum, Bat Cave apart from the synonymous views of the Himalayas.

One can get a glimpse of the magical Devi Falls just before touching the airport which is just 2kms away!!

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu, meet and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is then at leisure to relax after your flight.
Day 02 - Kathmandu
Breakfast is at the Hotel. After breakfast at the hotel you will take a private guided tour of Kathmandu city & Swayambhunath. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, there are around 50 temples in the vicinity. Later visit Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple. Afternoon you will visit the Patan city. Evening is at leisure.
Day 03 - Chitwan National Park
Breakfast is at the Hotel. After breakfast you will drive to Chitwan [06 Hrs]. Arrive Chitwan and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 04 - Chitwan National Park
Morning you will proceed for jungle safari. Return to hotel and have breakfast. Afternoon, you can enjoy activities like – jungle walk etc.
Day 05 - Chitwan National Park
Morning you will proceed for bird watching. Return to the hotel and enjoy breakfast. After lunch proceed for visit to Tharu village.
Day 06 - Pokhara
Breakfast is at the Hotel. After breakfast you will drive to Pokhara [06 Hrs]. Arrive Pokhara and transfer to your hotel. Later in the evening proceed for boat ride on Phewa Lake.
Day 07 - Pokhara
Early morning transfer to Sarangkot for sunrise and Annapurna range view. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later proceed you will take a private guided tour of Pokhara. Evening is at leisure.
Day 08 - Kathmandu
Breakfast is at the Hotel. After breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu [07 Hrs]. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 09 - Kathmandu
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Kathmandu International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to your next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
