Overview

The journey begins with a whirlwind tour of the Delhi metropolis, where one gets to visit the prime monuments of the city, the majestic Qutab Minar that always demands a mention. The city also offers a grand view of the colonial past in the grand architectural masterpieces like the India Gate and the President’s Palace.

Soon it is time to gear up for the desert surprises! Yet another day’s stay at the wonderful city of Agra, home to the mystical Taj Mahal and several other places of interest one is finally ready to trace the footsteps on the shimmering desert sands. Be it the Pink City of Jaipur, or the towering wonder of the Mehrangarh Fort at the city of Jodhpur, the intricate craftsmanship on stone or fabric, Rajasthan always leaves you with the desire to explore more. Apart from a few hours of respite, the tour also offers some of the most enchanting places to have the well-known Rajasthan cuisine.

Outlined Itinerary

Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to your hotel. Later proceed for orientation tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar – the 239ft sandstone tower. Drive past the India Gate; Parliament House [exterior] and the President’s Palace. Visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of Nation was cremated; drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
Day 02 - Agra
This morning take the early train to Agra 0615-0812. On arrival, you will proceed for a private tour of the city visiting Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daulah and a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays).
Day 03 - Jaipur
After breakfast you will drive to Jaipur (5 hrs) En route you will be shown around the heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue this afternoon to Jaipur arriving late afternoon then at leisure.
Day 04 - Jaipur
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Jaipur and Amber Fort. Taking in sites like Hawa Mahal, the City Palace and Observatory. This afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets.
Day 05 - Jodhpur
After breakfast you will drive to Jodhpur (7 hrs). Arrive Jodhpur and rest of the day will at leisure.
Day 06 - Jodhpur
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Jodhpur. Visiting sites like Mehrangarh Fort - The fort is situated 400 feet (122 m) above the city, and is enclosed by imposing thick walls and Jaswant Thada – a white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899. This afternoon is then free to relax or explore the markets.
Day 07 - Udaipur
After breakfast you will drive to Udaipur (6 hrs with sightseeing en route of Kumbalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Jain Temple. Arrive Udaipur late afternoon, then the rest of the day will at leisure.
Day 08 - Udaipur
After breakfast you will take a private guided tour of Udaipur. Visiting sites like City Palace – Built in 1725, the grand City Palace is actually a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Badi. Later in the evening enjoy a common boat cruise on Lake Pichola.
Day 09 - Mumbai
Breakfast is at the Hotel. Today at an appropriate time, you will be met and transferred to Udaipur airport to board your flight for Mumbai 0800-0945. Arrive Mumbai and transfer to Mumbai International airport to connect with your homebound or onwards flight... or travel to you next destination if you would like to add to this tour.
