The Bison Wilderness Resort MI Evaluation - Silver Plus

The decor and ambience of the camp recreates the adventurous decadence of a bygone era. Wooden floors, elegant linen, beautiful artifacts, old cabin trunks and other original antiques seek to enhance the rustic setting of the camp site. 

Each tent is lavishly furnished with double beds, writing and dressing tables, full length mirror and arm chairs. 

En-suite bathrooms with expansive showers are a virtual treat. 

The lounge and dining areas are built on stilts and enmeshed with mosquito nets (draped when needed), overlooking the Kabini backwater and providing a superb vista for wild life viewing. 

The reception and library provide a relaxing ambience. Casually placed sofa sets under an old chandelier greet you with a quaint reception into the camp. 

The Bush Rejuvenator: Not really a spa in the real sense but a superb location to get your massage. Well placed in a machaan, so you can soak in the sounds of nature while you unwind. You may even spend the night in the machan! 

The camp is situated in the heart of the man-animal conflict. It very purpose is served in implementing solutions to this conflict. Apart from the movement of the tribal of the area around the lands, a load of wilderness also moves around in and around our premises. Elephants, leopards, wild boar, spotted deer and bear can be seen quite often from the camp itself. If you are lucky, you may even hear tiger roaring into the night, its terror stricken prey sounding their alarm calls. Come day break and birdlife descends on the ticket left of the camp. 

If you need to be woken up while the local wildrness us, then do remember to log in with the security. Mr. Gowda will waken you whenever we have a wild visitor. 

Library: Read in peace with the winds of the backwaters ruffling your hair. 

Indoor games: such as Carom, Chess, Cards, Monopoly are available on request. 

Outdoors: Tennis ball cricket 

The venture is promoted by die-hard wild lifers and conservationists. It draws its core intended purpose from the strengths and experience of these dedicated promoters. 

Nawabzada Saad Bin Jung - Of Royal descent, sportsperson, wild life enthusiast, eco-tourism promoter, columnist, novelist, angler, photographer, has over 25 years experience in promoting and managing eco- tourism and jungle lodges and camps. 

As an extension of his activities in India, based on his vast experience he has started "to Africa with saad" a new venture with like minded camp owners in Africa
