Forsyth’s Satpura is located near the village of Sarangpur opposite the Madai entrance to Satpura Tiger Reserve at the northern edge of the reservce with Pachmarhi being at the southern end, Madai ha to be approached by boat aross Tawa Dam.

They are open from mid October until the end of June. The grounds of Forsyth’s are a vibrant habitat supporting a large array of wildlife. Sit our on your verandah and the wealth of birdlife will be a jous as also the butterflies especially in the autum and then later after the first rains.

Forsyth's Satpura works closely with te park management and the wildlife wing of the state forest department to put in place a unique wildlife programme taht is designed to be a template for other parks in Madhya Padesh. The centre pillar of this project is the frist class guiding.

Walking in the wilderness is the unique concept at Forsyth’s Satpura and offers you a different expereince than safaris by jeep, although is is also on offer. To learn th secret ways of the jungle, to appreciate the workings of it innermost receses, to see and learn the signs and tracks thatwildlife leaves through the forest and to learn to interpret these, to savour the smell, sounds and sence of the wilderness you have to take to your feet.
